UC Davis Education Building in Sacramento

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management Sacramento Part-Time MBA program has access to classrooms and meeting space in the Education Building on the UC Davis Sacramento campus. The Education Building is a $46.2 million, 122,700-square-foot facility that serves as a beautiful, modern gateway to the 140-acre Sacramento campus.

Parking: ParkMobile, Flowbird

Davis campus permits are valid on the UCDMC Campus. “B” permits are valid in lots 14, 16, 18, 22, 25, and 30. Daily visitor passes are available in the kiosk in lot 14. Passes are $3.00 after 5:00 p.m.

ParkMobile is easy to set up and easy to use:

Download the ParkMobile app, available on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Create a free account using your @ucdavis.edu email address and add your vehicles.
Pay for parking only on the days you drive (remember to manually enter your zone#)

If you do not have a UC Davis email address to use with ParkMobile, daily permits can be purchased with a credit card at the self-service kiosk located in Lot 25 or by downloading the Flowbird mobile app.

UC Davis Health ParkMobile Zones

Look for signs in the lot where you wish to park. The zones below are available now to employees and students:

Zone# 42201 – $2.32 per day
- Valid anywhere UC Davis Health “B” Parking is allowed, including
- Lots 12, 17, 18, 22, 25, EDD, Broadway, and Parking Structure 4.
UC Davis Health also honors daily dual campus permits issued by Davis Campus:
- Dual Campus Zones# 35800/35801 – $5.10 or $4.00 per day*
  - Daily Dual Campus permits are valid anywhere UC Davis Health “B” Parking is allowed (same as 42201), plus
- Zone# 35800 ($5.10 per day*) is also valid in Davis Campus A or C zones. Available to staff only.
- Zone# 35801 ($4.00 per day*) is also valid in Davis Campus C zones, and is available to both staff or students.

* Daily dual campus permits expire at midnight. See Davis Campus Transportation Services website for details.

Building Hours & Access

The Education Building entrances are locked after 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends. The classrooms and meeting rooms are not locked. You may obtain a key to access the building in Room 2203.

Sacramento ID Badge/Cardkey

The Education Building and the CHT Building require a unique name badge and access card for entry to the building and the GSM Office* after hours. These access cards function as your required ID badge for security purposes, as a part of the UC Davis Health System. If you experience issues or need a replacement card, please contact Dedan Sims.

*To open the GSM Office door with your ID badge, hold the card up to the card reader to the right of the door sign; then simply push the door open.

Program Hours

The GSM has access to classrooms and meeting space by reservation in the Education Building on the UC Davis Sacramento campus from 12:00 – 9:30 p.m., Fridays, and 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Classrooms may be reserved in advance, however, any open classroom during this time is available to GSM students exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis.
